OTP Bank customers will shortly receive, by email and/or post, a personalised notice from Banca Transilvania and OTP Bank Romania, including details of BT products and services, as well as the next steps in integrating OTP Bank into Banca Transilvania.
Retail customers will receive the notice starting December 13, 2024, and corporate customers starting January 16, 2025.
The integration of OTP Bank into Banca Transilvania is underway; over the coming months, the two banks will continue to operate separately.

- Regardless of the phone number calling you – even if it appears to be OTP Bank or BT – remember that no employee will ever ask you to transfer money, install apps on your phone, or share your card details. It may be a spoofing scam.
- Messages urging you to urgently update account details or confirm payments via links can direct you to fake pages that harvest personal information. Use only the bank’s official channels and trusted websites. This may be a phishing scam.
- Never share information such as your card details.
- Be wary of any online offer that seems too good to be true.
