Banca Transilvania’s micro, SME and corporate clients have, starting today, a new way to interact with the bank online, through Raul the Robot. They can get information 24/7, via Facebook Messenger and Skype, about the accounts, products and services they have with BT. This makes it easier for clients to access real-time information.  

Banca Transilvania has 250,000 business clients, and one third of the companies set up in 2017 chose to bank with Banca Transilvania.

Raul the Robot offers entrepreneurs details such as: the IBAN and the balance of their current account in RON or other currencies; amounts due on credit cards; details about loan instalments, interest and fees, or garnishments; the exchange rate; the number of loyalty points accumulated on the Star shopping card; and information about the NELIMITAT package in the BT network and its add-ons. The confidentiality of the information is ensured by the two codes that clients must provide at the start of the conversation with Raul the Robot, namely the unique identification code and the one received by phone.

Raul the Robot communicates online as follows:

• Via Facebook: Like the Raul from BT page → Messenger → Start → Registration → enter the CIF (details about the CIF) → enter the validation code received by phone → type your question;
• Via Skype: Add to your contacts → Start → Registration → enter the CIF → enter the validation code received by phone → type your question.

This is Banca Transilvania’s second chatbot, the first being Livia, dedicated to communication with retail clients. On average this year, Livia the Robot has provided 250,000 answers per month to the bank’s clients and to those of BT Direct. Both launches are firsts in Romanian banking communications and a step forward in offering clients positive experiences.
