Over 430,000 people used the AI Search option last year, 70% of them being visitors to the Întreb BT website.

AI Search can be accessed on most of BT Group’s websites, including Banca Transilvania, Întreb BT, Finance made simple, Starbt.ro, BT Go, BT Asset Management, BT Leasing and BT Pensii. Întreb BT was the first site where the bank integrated artificial intelligence, in 2023. The other sites followed in 2024, and all now run on the latest version, GPT-4o.

We are pleased that both initiatives — AI Search and Întreb BT — were pioneers in their fields and are the most important projects in the areas in which they operate, contributing both to accurate, user-friendly information and to financial education. BT has a strong commitment to continue investing and to simplifying access to financial information.

Întreb BT: record number of visitors in 2024
Întreb BT is an online platform, designed as a search engine, with over 2,000 questions and answers about banking, as well as about the products and services of Banca Transilvania Group companies. Thanks to the integration of artificial intelligence, people who search using AI Search receive a comprehensive reply to the questions they ask online, based on all the details on Întreb BT about that topic.  

• 5.6 million people visited the site in 2024, up 13% versus 2023, marking a new record.
• Visitor interests have shifted year over year, so the most sought-after information is about products and services.
• 70% of visitors reached the site directly.
• On average, visitors ask 3 questions via AI Search and stay in the conversation for about 3 minutes.
• From abroad, the site is visited mainly from Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and France. The number of visits from the Republic of Moldova increased year on year.

Banca Transilvania is the first bank in Romania to integrate artificial intelligence into its online communication, services and processes, using both Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Large Language Model (LLM).
