From the bench, to the Bank – the first steps towards discovering your career

„From the bench, to the Bank – the first steps towards discovering your career” is a project co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) through the Education and Employment Program 2021-2027 (PEO). The priority is increasing the quality of the education and vocational training offer to ensure the equity of the system and a better adaptation to the dynamics of the labor market and to the challenges of innovation and technological progress.

The specific objective is to improve the quality of your career, the inclusiveness of character, the effectiveness, and the relevance of education and training systems for the labor market, including through the validation of non-formal and informal learning, as well as by promoting the introduction of dual training systems and apprenticeship systems (ESF+). The aim is to support the acquisition of key competences, including entrepreneurship and digital competences

The project implementation period is November 1, 2024 – October 31, 2026.

The total value of the project is 4,929,602.00 RON, and the EU co-financing value is 4,683,120.20 RON.

The general objective of the project is increasing the relevance of professional training of 400 of studentți through the organization of 400 of internshipsă within Transilvania Bank .

We aim to improve entrepreneurial skills and adapt skills and qualifications related to the environment, climate, energy, circular economy, and bioeconomy. We propose the development a competency development programțentrepreneurial wings, over the course of 24 months, for acquiring the skills required by sectors related to the climate transition for a number of 400 students.
We aim to improve the relevance of vocational training for a number of 400 students, through participation in practical training internshipsă at the agency ți economic and for occupations related to their field of training, intervention materialized over a period of 24 months.
Development of the level of motivation and involvement in learning activities at the workplace through innovation and creativity, for a number of 400 interns, through granting of allowancețhe/she/it gives participation in internshipsă și organization of competitionțprofessional ii, completed with awards, intervention carried out over a period of 24 months.
Improving the qualification level for a number of 241 participants in the internships, through successful completion of internshipsă, intervention carried out over the course of 24 months.
Increasing awareness regarding the correlation of training needs with the labor market needs, through the achievement of a analyze în vederea anticipării unor nevoi orizontale de dezvoltare a educational offer, intervention carried out over the course of 24 months.

How can you be part of our story?

You are aged between 18 and 35 years at the date of commissioning;
You must be enrolled in an accredited higher education institution (public or private) in an ISCED level 6-8 program;
You must have legal residence in Romania, in one of the less developed regions - Center, South-East, South-Muntenia, South-West Oltenia, North-East, North-West, West;
You must not have been enrolled in the target group of another project co-financed through PEO 2021-2027.

How will the project take place?

Internship periods will last 90 hours, divided over 15 working days, and will take place within the branches and agencies of Transilvania Bank. The duration of the internships will be adapted according to the curriculum of each partner university.

You will develop both personally and professionally, through a special course created to improve your entrepreneurial skills. You will learn about super important topics, such as environmental protection, climate change, and the circular economy. Then, you will have practical experience directly at Transilvania Bank, one of the largest banks in Romania.

In addition, at the end of the internship you also receive a net allowance of 540 lei (the amount may vary depending on the number of internship hours provided in the curriculum of each partner university) and you have the chance to win prizes of 2,000 lei (gross) in a professional competition.

The project is aligned with the European Union priorities regarding implementation European Pillar of Social Rights which aims to develop a more equitable and inclusive Union. In addition, they seek to improve the quality and relevance of education for the labor market, promote digital and entrepreneurial skills, and integrate dual training programs.
