Banca Transilvania S.A. (hereinafter also referred to as “the bank”, “BT”, “we”), hereby informs you through this specific information note how it intends to process your data for the purpose of online scheduling at BT units.
This information note is supplemented with the provisions BT Privacy Policies, which we recommend you to consult.
To streamline the bank's operations by preventing overcrowding in its branches, BT offers interested persons the possibility to schedule online for future banking transactions at the bank's counters. If you use this form of scheduling, BT will process personal data concerning you: name, surname, contact details (email address and/or phone number), date and time of the appointment, the BT unit where you chose to schedule, the type of banking operation for which you made the appointment. If you do not wish to provide this data, you will not be able to schedule online, but you can come directly to the branch (in branch, scheduled clients have priority at the times for which the appointment is set). Also, if for the scheduling of entities such as P.F.A., I.I., individual forms of practicing liberal professions (e.g. individual lawyers' offices, notaries, bailiff offices, etc.) you choose to fill in identification data of these (e.g. name, tax identification code), please be aware that this information is considered personal data. You are not obliged to provide such information about the entity in order to finalize the scheduling. If you choose to fill in the tax identification code of such an entity, you express your consent for it to be used to verify the entity's status in the bank's records and in public records, for the preparation of a personalized discussion at the branch.
Based on this personal data, no decisions are made against you through automated means. Your personal data related to the appointment at BT units will be deleted within a maximum of 10 days from the date for which you scheduled the appointment.
In order to provide you with the online appointment service in BT units, we are supported by contractual partners who act on your personal data related to appointments in bank units only under the instructions of BT, established through personal data processing agreements, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
As a rule, your data is not transmitted outside the European Union. To the extent that, for the provision of these online scheduling services, our contractual partners, who in turn use providers of various services (e.g., SMS/email sending), need to transmit your data to third countries, this transfer will be carried out only in compliance with the guarantees provided by the GDPR.
Regarding the rights provided by GDPR that you can exercise in connection with the processing of your personal data, as well as the ways in which you can exercise them or how you can contact the data protection officer appointed by BT (DPO BT), you will find details in the BT Privacy Policy previously indicated.
