Banca Transilvania S.A. (hereinafter also referred to as "the bank", "BT", "we"), hereby informs you through this specific information note how it intends to process your data for the purpose of online scheduling at BT units.
This information note is completed with the provisions BT Privacy Policies, which we recommend you consult.
To streamline the bank's activity by preventing overcrowding in its units, BT offers interested individuals the possibility to schedule appointments online for future banking operations at the bank's counters. If you use this form of scheduling, BT will process personal data concerning you: name, surname, contact details (email address and/or phone number), date and time of the appointment, the BT unit where you chose to schedule your appointment, the type of banking operation for which you made the appointment. If you do not wish to provide this data, you will not be able to schedule online, but you can come directly to the unit (in the unit, scheduled clients have priority at the times for which the appointment is set). Also, if for scheduling entities of the type P.F.A., I.I., individual forms of practicing liberal professions (e.g., individual lawyer offices, notaries, bailiff offices, etc.) you decide to fill in identification data of these (e.g., name, CUI), please note that this information is treated as personal data. You are not obligated to provide this information about the entity to complete the scheduling. In case you choose to provide the CUI of such an entity, you express your consent for it to be used to verify the situation of the entity in the bank's records and in public records, for preparing a personalized discussion at the unit.
Based on these personal data, no decisions are made about you by automated means. Your personal data related to the appointment at BT units will be deleted within a maximum of 10 days from the date you set the appointment.
To be able to offer you the online scheduling service in BT units, we are supported by contractual partners who act on your personal data related to scheduling in the bank's units only under BT's instructions, established through personal data processing agreements, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
As a rule, your data is not transferred outside the European Union. To the extent that, for the provision of these online booking services, our contractual partners, who in turn use providers of various services (e.g. SMS/email sending), need to transfer your data to third countries, this transfer will be made only in compliance with the guarantees provided by the GDPR.
Regarding the rights provided by the GDPR that you can exercise in connection with the processing of your personal data, as well as the ways in which you can exercise them or how you can contact the data protection officer appointed by BT (BT DPO), you can find details in the BT Privacy Policy previously mentioned.
